I hold a B.A. in Social Work and an M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning, which have provided me with a multidisciplinary academic background. My research focuses on urban social geography and urban political-economic transformation, with particular attention to the sociospatial processes, institutional structures, and power relations underlying urban renewal, residential mobility, and travel behavior.

I have published in leading academic journals, including Applied Geography and Annals of the American Association of Geographers.
